Homeless Not Hopeless: Candlelight Vigil & Memorial Service
Please Join Us For The 26th Annual National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day on December 21
Candlelight Vigil
Meet us at Hyannis Village Green at 5pm for a BRIEF candlelight vigil ceremony acknowledging Cape Cod’s Homeless. We will then walk up Main Street together to the Federated Church for the Memorial Service beginning around 5:15pm
Memorial Service
Join us The Federated Church on Main Street, Hyannis at 5:15pm for a service to remember the homeless who lost their lives in Hyannis in 2015. They will each be represented by a luminary on the altar of the church and eulogized by someone who knew them. Every homeless person has a story that deserves to be told – this is their opportunity to be heard.
Annual Sleep Out at 6pm on Saturday, Dec 19

The evening opens with a discussion with HAC (Housing Assistance Corporation) about what Cape towns can do to help address the issue of homelessness on Cape Cod. This is followed by a social then a sleep out under the stars – no matter what the weather! Bring your sleeping bag!
